Silk velour is often used for dresses, skirts, blouses and simple trousers when you want to combine a soft surface with a little stretch. The quality is also relevant for decorative details where the colour and sheen need to stand out clearly.

The velour surface creates a dense, soft structure that reflects light differently depending on the pile direction. This is an advantage when you want colour variation without a print. The elastane content provides better freedom of movement in garments and makes the fabric more forgiving in fit.

Cut all pieces in the same pile direction for an even colour play in the finished garment.

Wash at 30 degrees on a gentle cycle. Wash inside out. Avoid tumble drying. Hang to dry and steam lightly if needed.
