Licensed prints on cotton jersey are often used for childrenswear and light leisurewear, where the motif is the focal point. Sew, for example, T-shirts, tops, leggings and hats, or use the print as a contrast detail together with solid colour yardage. The blue shade works well as a base because it can be combined with both light and dark tones in a collection.

The 220 g/m² quality provides a good balance between drape and body. This makes it easier to achieve neat seams, and the garment feels more stable than very lightweight jersey. The lycra content contributes to shape retention and helps maintain the fit wash after wash.

Fabric shops and smaller manufacturers often buy licensed prints when the range needs recognisable themes that sell consistently in season and out of season. A typical question is whether the print can handle stretch. Knit jersey moves, but a cotton-lycra base provides more controlled elasticity in wear.

Wash at 30 degrees inside out. Avoid tumble drying to protect colour and stretch.
