Purple leggings foil is dance fabric in polyester and elastane with 4-way stretch and a glossy purple foil surface. The fabric is double-stretch in both directions and fits close without squeezing – a key requirement in the production of leggings and stagewear.

Professional assessment

The foil surface requires sewing at low speed with a Microtex needle to avoid puncturing the foil layer. Use a lint-free surface under the presser foot. The fabric shows stitch lines clearly – plan the stitch layout as part of the design.
