Caramel is a warm, brownish shade often selected as lining for jackets, blazers, and classic coats where a calm tone-on-tone interior is desired. The color also suits skirts and dresses, especially when combined with outer fabrics in brown, green, bordeaux, and dark blue.

Acetate lining provides a smooth, slightly glossy finish that beautifies the interior and helps garments glide more easily over underlying layers. The lightweight quality is suitable for lining without significantly adding weight to the finished garment. The lining also provides more controlled draping, especially when the outer fabric is textured or tends to catch on underlying layers.

Sew with a fine needle and press at low temperature. Wash gently at low temperature and avoid tumble drying. Always test on a scrap if combining lining with a dark outer fabric.
