About this print

Dark olive is a deep muted olive with grey in it, close to a forest floor. Green with the brightness worn off, grey underneath, brown at the edges, like moss on a north-facing trunk.

It is the shade that makes the rest of the series work, and it calmly ties the colours together on the shelf. Almost all colours here look good next to it, and it hides a full day of wear better than any light tone.

Certified and animal-friendly: the wool is mulesing-free and comes from sheep that are not mulesed (a
painful procedure where skin is cut away around the tail). Woolmark confirms genuine
quality wool, and Oeko-Tex 100 means tested free from harmful substances.

Suitable for tops, jogging bottoms and unlined jackets when you need a solid, dark base in the range. It also works for children’s trousers and men’s tops if you sew for the whole household, or if customers ask for unisex in muted colours. Wash at 30° wool program, dry flat, never tumble dry, no chlorine, no
ironing, gentle dry clean. Shrinkage 3–5%.
