Caramel lands as a warm golden caramel, like a great winter coat. It is the colour of a well-tailored winter coat – warm, golden, slightly biscuit-like. It has been quiet luxury for years, and in wool it delivers, because the fibre gives it a soft sheen.

As a solid colour rib, it provides a calm surface, but with life in the lines when the rib catches the light. Greige takes the cool side, caramel the warm – and between them they carry all the other colours in the range.

Certified and animal-friendly: the wool is mulesing-free and comes from sheep that are not mulesed (a
painful procedure where skin is cut away around the tail). Woolmark confirms genuine
quality wool, and Oeko-Tex 100 means tested free from harmful substances.

For shops, it works as a safe base colour for autumn and winter, especially when customers want to build a layered wardrobe. It pairs well with the rest of the palette because the warm tone grounds bright colours without dulling them. Use it as a reference colour on the shelf next to greige so customers can quickly choose a warm or cool neutral. Wash at 30° on a wool programme, dry flat, never tumble dry, no chlorine, no
ironing, gentle dry clean. Shrinkage 3-5%.
