600D Oxford is often used for bags, structured tote bags, seat cushions and outdoor projects where you want a robust coated fabric by the metre. The Terra shade sits in a calm, earthy tone and fits well into nature-inspired ranges. The colour works both as an all-over base and as a contrast to, for example, black, navy and beige.

The quality has a firm hand, which helps when you want to build products that need to hold their shape. This gives more controlled sewing in panels, pockets and reinforcements, and the finished look is less “floppy” than with thinner fabrics. Waterproof performance is stated as cm H2O, making it easier to compare with other outdoor qualities when purchasing. A typical question is whether a higher cm H2O is always better. Higher values generally provide more resistance to water pressure, but weight, flexibility and price may change, so the number should be assessed together with the intended use.
