Black is the base colour in most collections. It is used for dresses, shirts, skirts and lining and works as a calm background alongside printed fabrics.

Cotton canvas at 140 g/m² is used for shirts, blouses, dresses, nightwear and children’s wear, as well as for bedding, cushions and aprons. The fabric cuts cleanly, and the weave makes it easy to keep the grainline when cutting. This produces consistent pieces when sewing in runs. The canvas is breathable and durable and easy to sew on both a sewing machine and an overlocker.

Fabric shops and smaller producers use luxury cotton as a core item because the quality is not seasonal. The range is available in 36 colours in the same quality, so black can be reordered and combined with the other colours for ongoing production.

Wash at 30°C for the longest life. It can be washed at 40°C without shrinking. It is a good idea to wash the fabric before cutting. Avoid tumble drying to maintain measurements and finish.
