Light green fold-over elastic is often used for underwear, tops, baby and children’s clothing, and as a contrast edge on solid colour cotton jersey and french terry. The fresh colour works well as a detail in sportswear and loungewear, where a light edge can create a clear colour break.

The controlled stretch makes it easier to keep a straight edge when the elastic is folded over seam allowance. The result is a neat finish with stable tension, also when the elastic is used on curves such as leg and sleeve finishes. The glitter effect adds a light shine, while the elastic remains flexible and practical in construction.

For fabric shops, light green is an obvious supplement to basic colours because it creates variety on the elastic wall without requiring large quantities per colour. Clothing manufacturers often use it for small runs and details where the colour needs to stand out, but still be easy to combine.

Wash at 30 degrees. Avoid tumble drying to maintain elasticity.
