Dusty mint creates a muted, Scandinavian colour look that works well in collections where trims should blend calmly with the fabrics. The elastic is often used for visible waistbands on trousers and skirts, for waistbands in shorts, and as a contrast detail on sweatshirts and lightweight jackets where an elastic finish is desired.

The polyamide fibres provide a hard-wearing elastic with an even surface. This makes it suitable when the elastic is visible and needs to keep its appearance in use. The elastane share provides stable stretch, so the elastic performs consistently and delivers predictable fit in the finished garment.

Fabric shops and smaller producers often choose 4 cm width as a standard for waistbands, because the width creates a clear visual band without becoming too dominant. The 25-metre pack makes it easy to plan purchasing and cut repeated lengths.

Wash at 30 degrees. Avoid tumble drying, as heat can shorten the elastic’s lifespan.
