The lilac shade is often used as a contrast or match to jersey and jogging fabrics when you want rib trims, necklines and sleeve cuffs with a more colourful look. The rib structure provides strong recovery, so the edge pulls in neatly and continues to sit close after wear.

Tubular rib knit is known for its elasticity and shape stability. The combination of cotton and lycra makes the quality flexible and ideal for trims exposed to repeated stretching, for example in childrenswear and basic collections where the fit needs to be consistent from size to size.

Fabric shops and manufacturers often buy rib knit as a fixed component in the range because colours can be repeated across many series. Consistency from roll to roll makes it easier to reorder for replenishment without the colour tone changing within the same style. Rib knit sold by the metre is also used for smaller panels where more structure is desired.

Wash at 30 degrees inside out. Avoid tumble drying so the rib knit retains its elasticity.
