The nude colour is often used for baby and childrenswear, lightweight sweatshirts and cardigans when a calm, season-neutral look is required. This quality is also relevant for blankets, play mats and soft cushions where a quilted surface delivers a more polished finish.

Quilted jersey has more body than standard jersey. This makes it easier to maintain clean lines and shape in the garment — for example in a gilet or a loose transitional jacket. The cotton base provides a comfortable, soft hand feel while the weight of 240 g/m² adds warmth without becoming heavy.

Fabric stores and smaller manufacturers frequently choose nude as a base colour because the tone coordinates with many prints and can be used across collections. Consistent width makes cutting in runs more predictable, and the colour can be maintained in the range when working with repeat orders.

Wash at 30°C, preferably inside out. Avoid tumble drying and high heat so the quilt structure holds from wash to wash.
