Light taupe is a neutral color with a calm expression, fitting well into non-seasonal basic programs. This weight of cotton jersey is often used for T-shirts, long-sleeved blouses, leggings, and simple dresses. Many also choose taupe as a base color for collections featuring multiple layers and muted tones.

The cotton fiber provides a comfortable everyday surface, and the lycra adds stretch for good mobility. The quality maintains its shape and is ideal for production where fit and measurements need to hold wash after wash. At 220 g/m², it is a dense jersey offering more coverage than lighter qualities.

Fabric stores often order light taupe as a standard color because it sells consistently and combines well with many prints and contrast colors. Wash at 30 degrees, preferably inside out. Avoid tumble drying to protect elasticity and color.
