Cotton jersey – Lilac is a single jersey knit made from 95% cotton and 5% lycra, 220 g/m² and 150 – 160 cm wide.

The lilac shade has a calm, dusty look and is often used for baby and children’s clothing as well as basic styles for women’s and men’s wear. The quality works well for tops, T-shirts, leggings and beanies when you want a classic cotton jersey fabric weight with good elasticity.

Cotton/lycra at 220 g/m² provides a stable fabric that is easy to integrate into standard patterns. 4-way stretch offers good mobility and makes the fabric suitable for both close-fitting and looser designs. The jersey knit is dense enough to give good coverage without the quality becoming too heavy.

Fabric shops and smaller producers often choose solid colours like this for basic ranges because they can be combined across collections. Wash at 30 degrees inside out. Avoid tumble drying to preserve stretch and colour.
