Nude bamboo jersey is frequently used when building a range of calm basic colours that are easy to sell alongside prints and seasonal shades. The colour suits T-shirts, tops, dresses and leggings where a subdued look and uniform appearance in the finished collection is desired.

The bamboo/lycra blend gives a soft hand feel and a nice drape. At the same time, the quality maintains shape well when the fit makes use of stretch in both length and width. Many buyers ask whether bamboo jersey “gives” in use. The 4-way stretch makes garments flexible, and the lycra content helps the clothing return to shape after movement.

Fabric stores often stock nude regularly as it serves as a basic colour on shelves and can be reordered without altering the range’s expression. Uniform colour reproduction from roll to roll is essential for continuous supplementation.

Wash at 30°C, preferably inside out. Avoid tumble drying to preserve surface and stretch.

Combine with several basic shades from Solid colour jersey and use rib trims from Rib for finishes.
