The rabbits add a character motif to the grey base that works well for children’s wear. Sew, for example, sweatshirts, joggers, hoodies and dresses with good volume. The brushed reverse provides a warm inside. For garments for cooler months, it is worth including this in the choice of style and fit.

The heavy weight gives more body than a thin jersey knit. The quality is therefore relevant when you want better coverage in the finished garment. However, opacity should be assessed on a fabric sample if it is critical for your production. The lycra content provides stretch, while the direction of the motif requires attention during cutting.

Fabric shops can present the quality alongside calm solid colour fabrics that keep the rabbit motif in focus. For smaller clothing manufacturers, the same fabric can be used across multiple styles within a cohesive range. Wash at 30 degrees with the fabric turned inside out, and avoid tumble drying.
