Dot printed jersey fabric in teal and mauve creates a calm, graphic look that works well for both childrenswear and simple core collections. This quality is often used for leggings, tops, T-shirts and bodysuit styles when you need an elastic fabric by the metre with stable fit and good freedom of movement.

The cotton/lycra blend provides good crosswise stretch and helps garments keep their shape in wear. At the same time, the print works neatly with stretch, so the dots look consistent in the finished sewn result. A question we often get from buyers is: Does printed jersey shrink? Jersey can shrink slightly after the first wash, so we recommend the same washing and drying procedure across ranges when you plan sizing.

Fabric shops and smaller manufacturers choose rotary print when they want an all-over pattern for collections and shelf assortments. Rotary print provides a continuous repeat and is practical for larger cutting layouts where the pattern needs to repeat consistently. The colours are supplied consistently from roll to roll, so you can reorder without visible colour shifts.

Wash at 30 degrees with the wrong side out. Avoid tumble drying and use a mild detergent.
