The wide rib structure provides a distinct surface with good fullness. The curry colour acts as a warm base in collections where you want a shade that stands out without being harsh. Corduroy is often used for trousers, skirts, dresses, and lightweight jackets where a more structured surface than ordinary fabrics is desired.

Cotton corduroy at 280 g/m² offers a more stable appearance and good coverage. This quality is relevant when clothing needs to retain shape in use and when you want to avoid a too thin drape. The surface acquires a calm play that subtly changes with the pile direction, so cutting in the same direction gives a more uniform result.

Always plan cutting with the pile direction for visual consistency between pieces.

Wash at 30 degrees and avoid tumble drying. Let the fabric dry hanging, and gently brush the pile after washing to maintain the surface.
