Corduroy is often used for trousers, skirts, dresses and lightweight jackets where you want a more structured surface than standard fabrics.

At 280 g/m², the cotton corduroy delivers a more stable look and good coverage. This makes the quality a relevant choice when garments need to hold their shape in wear and when you want to avoid an overly thin drape. The surface has a calm play that changes slightly with the pile direction, so cutting in the same direction gives a more uniform result.

The quality also works for smaller series where you want to reorder the same item without major variations in appearance. Always plan cutting with the pile direction so the pieces match visually.

Wash at 30 degrees and avoid tumble drying. Let the fabric dry hanging, and brush lightly with the pile after washing to keep the surface looking neat.
