Rose is a classic rose tone that works in both bright and more muted colour palettes. Corduroy is often used for trousers, skirts and overshirts, where the surface needs a clearly defined texture. The quality can also be used for home details such as cushions and smaller upholstered surfaces when you want a textile look with ribs.

The wide wale creates a surface that feels soft while still offering a firm grip during sewing. The fabric drapes with a bit of body, so it holds its shape nicely in simple cuts and gives a calm fall in, for example, a skirt. The direction of the wales creates variation in colour, making solid colour items look more lively.

Fabric shops often choose Rose as a sellable colour for both children’s and women’s collections because it is easy to combine with grey, natural and dark blue. Producers use corduroy at 280 g/m² when a stable quality is needed that can be used year-round.

Wash at 30°C, preferably inside out. Avoid tumble drying to protect the surface.
