Gobelin – Marliana flowers features a decorative pattern that gains depth through the woven structure. Gobelin fabric is often used for cushion covers, bags, seat pads and smaller upholstery projects where you need a robust material with a look that stands on its own. The quality also works well for details such as pockets and panels in accessories when you want more structure than standard upholstery fabric.

The heavy weight of 413 g/m² provides a stable quality with a firm hand. This makes a difference in production because the fabric drapes less and is therefore easier to control during cutting and sewing. The jacquard weave also creates a surface with a distinct texture, making the pattern appear clear without looking flat.

Gobelin is typically ordered by fabric shops working with seasonal home-interior new arrivals, and by small producers sewing cushions and bags in short runs. Consistent quality from roll to roll makes it easier to maintain the same look when reordering. This is relevant when a colour or pattern becomes a fixed part of your range.

Wash gently at 30 degrees. Avoid tumble drying.

Overlock the edges to minimise fraying, and consider using a slightly longer stitch length when sewing thicker layers.
