Red velour is often used for Christmas-inspired displays, cushions, bench pads, headboards, and light upholstery where a distinct colour and a soft-touch surface are desired. The colour also works well for curtains and decorative solutions in stores when a warm and classic expression is needed.

The velour surface gives depth to the colour as the pile slightly changes with light direction. This makes the red tone livelier in surfaces like cushions and panels without the fabric appearing restless. At the same time, the dense surface provides a neat finish when working with simple cuts and clean edges.

This quality is typically ordered by fabric shops, interior dealers, and smaller producers who require a stable velour for seasonal goods and fixed basic colours. The polyester quality is practical in use because it maintains shape and is easy to plan in metreage. The fabric is handled as a stock item, allowing reorder as needed.

Clean or gentle wash as needed. Always test on a sample first and avoid tumble drying to preserve the pile.
