The white colour is often used in Christmas fabric ranges and in collections where contrast needs to be built against darker colours. The long pile adds volume and a distinct look, making it well suited for both decoration and garments with a focus on surface texture.

The faux fur is typically used for trims and details on jackets and vests, costumes, cushions and blankets, as well as decoration in shop windows and display environments. The stable weight of 450 g/m² makes it easier to shape and sew when you want a fuller result.

The pile direction has a major impact on the final look. Cut the pieces in the same direction so the surface appears consistent across the item. Preferably use sharp scissors and cut from the reverse side to minimise loose fibres in production.

Fabric shops and decoration suppliers often bulk order white faux fur ahead of peak season because the colour fits many themes and can be combined with multiple materials. As a stock item, it is also easy to reorder when a campaign requires extra metres.

Shake or vacuum gently to remove loose fibres. Wash gently after testing on a small sample, and avoid tumble drying.
