Sand is a light, nature-inspired shade that is often used as a base colour in linen ranges. The stonewashed surface gives a soft touch and a more relaxed look, making the fabric suitable for both interiors and fashion.

Woven linen at 250 g/m² is often used for curtains, cushion covers and tablecloths when you want a fabric with more body and a calm drape. The quality also works for shirts, loose trousers and dresses when you want to work with a natural material that can be used year-round.

The light sand colour makes it easy to combine with both dark and coloured elements in a range. The stable weight provides more controlled draping than very lightweight linen, and the stonewashed treatment makes the look feel more finished from the start.

Fabric shops often stock sand and natural as core colours because customers use them across styles. Smaller producers choose light base colours when the collection needs to be reorderable and expandable without changing direction.

Wash at 40 degrees. Avoid tumble drying. Press lightly if you want a smoother look.
