Cream is a light, calm shade that is often used in both home textiles and collections with a natural look. Lightweight linen works well for curtains, light tablecloths, cushions and aprons. Many also choose this quality for summer dresses, shirts and loose-fitting trousers when a fabric is needed that feels light and airy.

The linen fibre creates a dry, natural surface with a clearly defined texture. This means the fabric drapes with a beautiful fall, while still having a firmness that makes it easy to control during cutting. The Cream colour is suitable when you want a light base fabric that can be combined with both natural tones and stronger colours.

Fabric shops and smaller producers often use lightweight linen fabric as a season-independent meter good for curtain and interior ranges, because the look is classic and easy to build a colour palette around. The consistent fabric makes it easier to plan consumption when you need to cut multiple lengths in the same colour.

Wash at 40 degrees. Expect natural shrinkage in linen, and preferably pre-wash before cutting. Avoid tumble drying. Iron if needed for a smoother look.
