Ecru creates a light, calm look where the rib texture of the corduroy stands out clearly. The washed finish tones down the surface and gives a soft hand feel, so the quality appears less stiff in wear and in finished garments.

Wide-wale corduroy is often used for trousers, skirts, overshirts and lightweight jackets when you want more texture than smooth woven fabrics.
