Description

ECRU velour is cotton velour in a blend of polyester and cotton, with a soft, dense velour surface in a warm, off-white ecru shade.

Specifications:

  • Material: Polyester and cotton
  • Colour: Ecru (off-white)
  • Surface: Soft velour hand, dense pile
  • Properties: Soft, warm
  • Available lengths: 10m, 50m

Ecru velour is used for baby suits, sleepsuits, soft joggers and loungewear — for both children and adults. The warm, off-white ecru tone is a neutral base colour that pairs with almost all other colours in a range. The shade is suitable as a production base colour and works well in unisex childrenswear lines.

Ecru is consistent from roll to roll — no visible colour shifts or shade differences between deliveries from the same collection. This makes production planning easier, as the material can be reordered with confidence in a consistent result. The pile is dense and keeps the colour stable after washing without yellowing with correct care.

This quality is primarily ordered by fabric shops with neutral core ranges, clothing manufacturers working with light colour palettes, and hobby sewists who want a warm white for baby clothing and toys. Ecru is a classic colour that is not seasonal and remains a stable part of production ranges all year. Stock item — ready to ship.

Wash at 30 degrees, inside out. Avoid tumble drying — hang to dry or lay flat.

Pair with solid colour cotton jersey from our solid colour jersey collection in pastel or natural-toned colours for coordinated sets.

Order from 10m — delivery 1–3 business days in Scandinavia.
