Black cotton velour is used for children’s clothing, sweatshirts, loose trousers, loungewear, and lined jackets. The dark, neutral color is ideal for garments that need broad compatibility — suitable for both children and adults. The velour surface gives the fabric a slight texture and natural drape without constriction. This means the clothing fits loosely and moves with the body — especially suitable for relaxed and casual wear with a laid-back cut. The pile is uniform and shows no visible directional changes when cut, simplifying manufacturing.

Cotton velour is mainly ordered by smaller clothing manufacturers, fabric shops, and hobby seamstresses working with seasonal collections or production runs in classic colors. Wash at 30 degrees inside out. Avoid tumble drying — hang to dry to preserve pile softness.
