Lilac and blue checks create a classic look with a clearly defined structure, often used for jackets, short coats, skirts and simple vests when you want a fabric with more body than standard cotton. The tweed construction also helps garments hold their shape nicely when working with straighter cuts and clean lines.

Woven tweed has a firmer hand than knitted qualities. This makes it easier to cut accurately and keep seams and edges crisp. The surface feels soft, but the fabric still has the characteristic tweed texture that adds depth to the checks.

Colour variation in the checks may differ slightly from roll to roll, especially when multiple yarns are used in the pattern. For production runs, we recommend ordering in one lot to minimise the risk of visible shifts within the same manufacture. Gentle washing at low temperature is recommended after your own pre-test. Avoid tumble drying. Press with moderate heat and use a pressing cloth.
