Tulle – Violet is tulle fabric in 100% polyester.

Violet tulle is often used for tulle skirts, layers in dresses, costumes, and decoration projects where you want volume without the material becoming heavy. The open mesh structure creates a light look, and the weight of 35 g/m² provides more fullness than very lightweight tulle.

The polyester quality makes the tulle practical to handle. It holds its shape in layers, and the mesh structure makes it easy to work with gathering and gathering tape when building skirt lengths or decorative ruffles. The tulle can also be used as an overlay when you want to tone down a base colour and create a more muted play of colour.

Tulle sold by the metre is typically ordered by fabric shops, event and decoration suppliers, and smaller producers who need consistent goods for repeat orders. Colours may vary slightly between dye lots, so it is an advantage to plan consumption per order and buy in one batch for the same production.

Wash gently at a low temperature, and avoid tumble drying. Let the tulle air-dry to preserve the structure.
