If you need a fabric that is light as a veil, yet stands away from itself in folds, organza in sage is a great option. It is woven in 100% polyamide (nylon), weighs approx. 20 g/m² and has a delicate sheen. Sage is a muted, greyish green that works for both rustic party décor and simple dresses.

Use it for overskirts, skirts and layers on dresses for parties and confirmations, or for small gift bags for wedding favours, gifts and table décor. Organza is also great for veils, bows, costumes and decorations where you want lightness and an airy look. In multiple layers the colour becomes deeper, and layered over another fabric, organza adds shine and a subtle tint of colour.

The cut edge frays, so a French seam, rolled hem or a narrow edge finished with bias binding gives the neatest result. A fine needle and slightly shorter stitches make the slippery fabric easier to handle.
