About this print

Our organza in magenta is woven from fine nylon threads, making the fabric thin, crisp and transparent at the same time. At around 20 g/m² it is almost weightless, and the surface has a distinct sheen. Magenta is a strong red-purple shade that creates a bold colour accent.

Use it for overskirts, skirts and layers on dresses for parties and confirmations, or for small gift bags for sugared almonds, gifts and table decorations. Organza is also great for veils, bows, costumes and decorations where you want lightness and an airy look. In multiple layers the colour becomes deeper, and layered over another fabric, organza adds shine and a subtle tint of colour.

Organza frays at the cut edge, so we recommend sewing with a French seam or a rolled hem. Use a fine needle, size 60-70, and sharp scissors, and pin closely, as the fabric slips easily.
