If you need a fabric that is light as a veil yet stands away from itself in folds, organza in old rose is a great choice. It is woven in 100% polyamide (nylon), weighs approx. 20 g/m² and has a delicate sheen. Old rose is a dusty rose with a warm undertone, romantic without becoming overly sweet.

Use it for chair bows, table runners and decorations for weddings and parties, or for lightweight curtains and voile where you want daylight to come in while softening the view. Organza is also great for veils, bows, costumes and decorations where you want lightness and an airy look. In multiple layers the colour becomes deeper, and layered over another fabric, organza adds shine and a subtle tint of colour.

The fabric is smooth and frays at the edge. Place tissue paper underneath while sewing, use a fine needle, and finish edges with a French seam or a rolled hem.
