The classic black swimwear fabric provides maximum elasticity and quick drying without feeling clammy or uncomfortable. It is used for swimwear, swim trunks, swimsuits, triathlon shirts, and water sports apparel in sizes 86 to XL. The nylon-lycra blend ensures excellent shape retention through long hours in water and sun without becoming tight or uncomfortable.

The knitted tricot construction means the fabric has 4-way stretch — it stretches both across and lengthwise without becoming loose or losing shape. The high lycra content of 20% gives extra elasticity that quickly returns after stretching — essential for movement in water or during physical activity. Nylon does not absorb water like cotton, allowing garments to dry much faster after swimming.

Wash at 30 degrees Celsius after each use — salt and chlorinated water can affect elastane longevity, so rinsing is important. Avoid tumble drying. Hang on a hook or reshape and hang to dry — direct sunlight may fade the black colour over time.
