The satin weave provides a smooth surface with a subtle sheen, often used for occasionwear, stage costumes and details where you want a glossier look. The black colour works as a reliable base in collections where it needs to pair with both strong colours and more muted shades. The quality is also suitable for lining-like applications in e.g. capes and lightweight jackets when you want a smooth inside.

The polyester base makes the fabric shape-stable in use and easy to plan in production, as it typically has a consistent surface from roll to roll. Satin at this weight offers an attractive drape without being too heavy, making it easy to work with in both full-cut pieces and more draped silhouettes.

Bridal satin is often ordered by smaller ateliers, clothing manufacturers and fabric shops that want a classic black satin quality as a stock item for season-independent styles. The 145 cm width provides efficient material usage in standard layouts.

Wash gently at 30°C. Avoid tumble drying. Always test ironing temperature on a scrap, as satin can turn shiny from hard pressure.
