Sand is a warm beige with a hint of olive – the colour of dry dune grass in October. It is the neutral shade a collection is built around, softer than grey and warmer than cream.

The wide rib creates clear, fine lines you can see and feel, and the silk adds a soft sheen along them. That texture means a simple colour never looks flat on the shelf, even when the rolls are stacked.

Certified and animal-friendly: the wool is mulesing-free and comes from sheep that are not mulesed (a painful procedure where skin is cut away around the tail). Woolmark Blend stands for genuine quality wool blended with other fibres, and Oeko-Tex 100 means tested free from harmful substances.

Suitable for long-sleeve tops as an inner layer, close-fitting turtlenecks, wrap cardigans and simple knitted dresses, and for bodysuits and undershirts under wool. Sand matches all colours in the series and looks especially good with navy blue, rust and cranberry. As a neutral base, it makes it easy for customers to combine with stronger colours. Wash at 30° wool programme, dry flat, never tumble dry, no bleaching, no ironing. Shrinkage 3–5%. Store flat.
