Ochre is a warm, golden autumn shade with a little brown in the base – the colour of dry leaves in low sunlight. The brown base keeps it muted, so it adds warmth to an autumn wall without taking over.

The fine rib catches the light on each rib, so the gold appears bright on top and deeper in the folds. This gives a solid colour top more life, and the colour looks just as good on the roll as in the finished garment.

Certified and animal-friendly: the wool is mulesing-free and comes from sheep that are not mulesed (a painful procedure where skin is cut away around the tail). Woolmark stands for genuine quality wool, and Oeko-Tex 100 means tested free from harmful substances.

Use it for turtlenecks, cardigans and loose long-sleeve tops for winter, and let the leftovers become beanies and neck warmers. Ochre pairs with navy blue, charcoal grey, cream and denim, and it lifts dark green. Place it next to Midnight Blue and Asphalt from the same series, and customers can put together a complete set. Wash at 30° wool programme, dry flat, never tumble dry, no bleaching, no ironing. Shrinkage 3–5%. Store flat.
