About this print

Craquelure is a print with a fine crackle texture in soft charcoal grey on a warm greige base. The surface resembles glaze that has set and cracked on old ceramics.

The fine charcoal grey lines run across the warm greige base without a repeat the customer can easily pick out, so the look becomes more texture than pattern. That makes it a neutral that is easy to sell across entire collections when customers want character without a motif.

Certified and animal-friendly: the wool is mulesing-free and comes from sheep that are not mulesed (a
painful procedure where skin is cut away around the tail). Woolmark confirms genuine
quality wool, and Oeko-Tex 100 means tested free from harmful substances.

It sits calmly next to a patterned fabric and also works when customers build a full set in the same print. Use it as a quiet base mixed with the season’s stronger prints, or as a consistent colour that ties a range of styles together in-store. Wash at 30° wool programme, dry flat, never tumble dry, no chlorine, no
ironing, gentle dry clean. Shrinkage 3-5%.
