About this print

Fig is the dark colour inside a ripe fig – berries and mauve muted with a little brown. It adds colour to a collection without shouting, and stands out from the many browns and greys.

The fine rib lets the colour move from rose on the ribs to deep plum in the folds. That play between light and shadow makes a simple style look considered, even when it hangs on a hanger in the shop.

Certified and animal-friendly: the wool is mulesing-free and comes from sheep that are not mulesed (a painful procedure where skin is cut away around the tail). Woolmark stands for genuine quality wool, and Oeko-Tex 100 means tested free from harmful substances.

Suitable for fitted long-sleeve tops, cardigans and knit dresses for autumn, and for children’s dresses and sets with hat and neck warmer. Fig pairs with grey, navy blue, cream, curry yellow and dark green. It’s a strong option for customers who want colour in their wardrobe and feel red is too much. Wash at 30° wool programme, dry flat, never tumble dry, no bleaching, no ironing. Shrinkage 3–5%. Store flat.
