Antique rose is rose like old roses become in a vase – soft and slightly powdery. The beige undertone keeps the colour calm, so it also appeals to adult customers who usually avoid rose.

The fine rib knit gives the colour a soft shadow, lighter on the ribs and deeper in between. Close to the face it adds warmth without becoming sweet, which makes it easy to sell as tops and turtlenecks.

Certified and animal-friendly: the wool is mulesing-free and comes from sheep that are not mulesed (a painful procedure where skin is cut away around the tail). Woolmark stands for genuine quality wool, and Oeko-Tex 100 means tested free from harmful substances.

Great for close-fitting long-sleeve tops, wrap cardigans and knit dresses for winter, in both women’s and children’s sizes. Antique rose pairs with grey, camel, cream, navy blue and light jeans. In the shop it hangs nicely between Sand and Cranberry from the same series. Wash at 30° wool programme, dry flat, never tumble dry, no bleaching, no ironing. Shrinkage 3–5%. Store flat.
