Slate Grey has blue in it, and that is what sets it apart from a flat neutral grey. It is the colour of wet slate, cool and with a bit of depth.

Brushed wool in a cool grey looks soft in the same way as a significantly more expensive fabric, because the nap catches light and the blue keeps the tone away from looking dusty. It is the most adult colour in the range and the one that sells for both childrenswear and adultwear.

A true premium product, made in Denmark. We have searched for a wool fleece of this quality for a long time and have not found anything comparable elsewhere: 100% merino wool at 240 g/m², brushed to an ultra-soft finish and knitted in Denmark. It is a quality that sells itself at the counter, because the customer feels the difference immediately.

Important to tell the customer: the fabric must be washed before use. On a 30° wool cycle it shrinks 8-10%, meaning significantly more than a woven wool fabric, so the full length must be washed and dried before cutting. In return, it pills very little, and the softness holds after washing.

Suitable for cardigans, hats, pramsuits and clean, simple layers in autumn and winter. Slate Grey works with all the other colours in the range, so it is the right one to stock if customers sew sets. It sells for both childrenswear and adultwear, and a full cardigan in Slate Grey is the calmest style in the range. Wash at 30° wool cycle with wool detergent, dry flat, no chlorine, ironing only on the wool setting, gentle dry clean. Shrinkage 8-10%.
