Lilac is woven double gauze in 100% cotton, 130 g/m² and 135 cm wide. The light lilac tone is fresh and airy and adds a soft element to a summer range.

The airy weave draws heat away and makes muslin feel cool against the skin. It is a good choice for babywear and clothing for warm days. Two layers of gauze provide a soft drape and a light, crinkled surface, and the open construction allows air to pass through, so garments are comfortable in summer heat.

Used for baby swaddles, summer dresses, scarves and lightweight tunics. The light lilac suits girlswear and womenswear and is easy to combine with fresh pastels. The soft tone works as a calm main colour in lightweight dresses and as a delicate accent in a light colour palette, and the soft surface makes it comfortable for babywear.

Wash at 30 degrees. Pre-washing is recommended, as double gauze shrinks slightly the first times. Avoid tumble drying – hang to dry.
