Ecru is woven double gauze in 100% cotton, 130 g/m² and 135 cm wide. The natural ecru tone is calm and warm and works as a soft base colour.

Ecru is a neutral base colour that matches many colours in a collection. The colour is consistent from roll to roll, so lengths can be sewn together without visible shifts. Two layers of gauze joined together create an airy fabric with a light, crinkled texture, and the surface becomes more pronounced after washing.

Used for baby swaddles, summer dresses, loose shirts, tunics and lightweight trousers in sizes 50 to adult. The neutral tone suits both childrenswear and womenswear and works both as a main colour and as a calm base under a patterned layer. The light weight makes the fabric suitable for layering and airy styles.
