Description

Dusty Lilac is woven double gauze in 100% cotton, 130 g/m² and 135 cm wide.

Specifications:

  • Material: 100% cotton
  • Weight: 130 g/m²
  • Width: 135 cm
  • Construction: Woven double gauze (muslin)
  • Care: Machine wash 30°C

The dusty lilac is soft and muted with a calm, feminine look. Double gauze is two thin layers of gauze fastened together, making the fabric airy and lightweight with a characteristic crinkled texture. The surface has a natural matte sheen that suits the muted tone. The lightweight quality makes the fabric comfortable to wear on a warm day.

Muslin is used for summer dresses, tunics, loose shirts and girlswear. The soft drape makes the fabric comfortable to sew with, and it gets softer with every wash without losing its light texture. The crinkled surface does not need to be ironed smooth.

Dusty Lilac is ordered by fabric shops and hobby sewists who sew lightweight summer qualities in muted colours. Stock item — ready for dispatch. The tone pairs easily with warm neutrals and off-white shades, and it looks calm next to stronger colours.

The muted lilac is well suited for light girlswear and calm spring styles, where the fabric should drape lightly and feel calm and muted without drawing attention away from the rest.

Wash at 30 degrees. Pre-washing is recommended, as double gauze shrinks slightly the first few times. Avoid tumble drying — hang to dry.

Combine with a light neutral from our gauze collection for lining and details.

Order from 1m — delivery 1-3 business days in Scandinavia.
