Soft mesh – Light blue is a lightweight mesh fabric made of 90% polyamide and 10% elastane, weighing 85 g/m² with a width of 150 cm.

The light blue colour provides a calm, technical appearance suitable for sports and functional collections. The open net structure makes the fabric ideal when low weight and extra airflow within the garment construction are desired.

This quality is often used for inserts in sportswear, as a light lining, or as layers in details where weight needs to be low. Many also select mesh for inner bag pockets and light reinforcements where flexibility is preferred over stiffness.

Practical buying perspective: The high polyamide content ensures good abrasion resistance relative to weight, while elastane helps the fabric retract after stretching. This makes the material more stable in repeated use, especially when used as panels.

Fabric shops and small producers often buy mesh as a supplement to jersey and jogging fabrics because customers request material for details and function. As a new product, it is also relevant for colour testing and small drops before deciding whether to add the colour permanently.

Wash at 30°C. Avoid tumble drying and hang to dry to protect elastane.
