Sewing Thread Sand is a strong polyester thread on 1000 m, designed for sewing natural-coloured and neutral garments as well as home decor fabric. The sand-coloured (natural) tone matches all earth tones and is ideal when you want to sew clothing or textiles in warm, minimalist colours without the thread becoming visible.

The strong polyester thread holds without breaking under normal sewing, and has a smooth surface that does not dirty the sewing machine. The sand colour is less universal than off-white, but it becomes almost invisible when sewing garments in beige, khaki, brown or grey — especially valuable when working with natural cotton or linen.

Hobby sewists and small upholstery makers choose sand-coloured thread for projects where the natural look should be preserved — for example when sewing curtains, cushions or lightweight jackets in washed linen-cotton. The thread reduces the need to match the fabric colour precisely to visible seams.

The thread can be washed at up to 60 degrees without losing strength or colour. It keeps its natural tone through many washes.
