Sewing thread denim navy is polyester sewing thread on 1000 m cones, specially developed for machine sewing on denim fabric and heavy workwear.

The deep dark navy shade matches denim fabric and other heavy blue-coloured materials. Used for topstitching trousers, jackets and workwear where the seam must be discreet and tone-on-tone. The thread is robust enough to hold in heavy materials without breaking during sewing.

Polyester sewing thread from Jydsk Stoflager is chosen by denim manufacturers and garment factories because it maintains its navy tone from cone to cone – no visible colour variation in production. The thread runs smoothly through the machine needle eye even during slow stitching on dense denim, and it withstands the forces that denim sewing puts on the thread. The colour does not disappear or turn brownish after washing.

Ideal for both flatlock seams and double-step details. Also well suited for sewing on cotton canvas and canvas fabric where you want a neutral, classic line.

Wash at 30–40 degrees together with other garments – polyester is chemically stable at these temperatures. Denim can be washed similarly without affecting the thread.
