Dark petrol is a neutral dark blue tone that pairs with navy, teal and grey fabrics without looking dominant. Used by hobby sewists and small garment producers for general sewing of childrenswear, leggings, sweatshirts and underwear. The thread feeds well through the sewing machine and produces a neat, straight seam without skipped stitches or breaks.

The thread is a stock item and is not changed more often than necessary — which means consistent colour reproduction across all your projects.
