About this interfacing

Vlieseline LE420 fusible interfacing is made for materials that cannot tolerate a hot iron. It is a nonwoven in 65% polyamide and 35% recycled polyester, 49 g/m² and 90 cm wide, with an adhesive that melts at low temperature.

LE420 is used for nappa and velour leather, real and imitation fur, faux leather, suede and other heat-sensitive fabrics. It provides support for small parts and front panels on jackets, coats and dresses, and it can be used for bags in faux leather.

How to fuse it: place the adhesive side against the wrong side and fuse dry on the lowest heat setting (one dot) for approx. 10 seconds per area. Use a pressing cloth between the iron and the material, and always test on an inconspicuous piece. Let the piece cool before continuing to sew.

The interfacing withstands washing at 40°C on a gentle cycle and dry cleaning. Avoid bleaching and tumble drying.
