About this interfacing

Vlieseline H609 is a lightweight fusible interfacing in 100% polyamide, 41 g/m² and 75 cm wide. It is elastic in both directions, so it stretches with the fabric instead of making it stiff.

H609 is made for stretch fabrics such as jersey fabric. Use it for small parts and front pieces in garments made from lightweight to medium-weight stretch qualities, so the fabric keeps its shape without losing its elasticity. Available in white and black. Choose white under light fabrics and black under dark ones, so the interfacing does not show through.

How to fuse it: place the adhesive side to the wrong side of the fabric, and fuse on the silk/wool setting for approx. 8 seconds per area. Press the iron firmly down 5 to 6 times per area instead of moving it back and forth. Leave the pieces flat for approx. 30 minutes so the adhesive sets before you continue sewing. Test on a fabric scrap first if possible.

The interfacing withstands washing at 40 degrees and dry cleaning. Avoid bleaching and tumble drying.
