About this interfacing

Vlieseline H410 fusible interfacing is a soft, medium nonwoven in 77% polyamide and 23% polyester, 43 g/m² and 90 cm wide. It has stabilising lengthwise threads that hold the outer fabric in place so it does not draw in.

H410 is used for coat and longer jacket front panels and for small parts that tend to draw in, in lightweight to medium fabrics. Cut the interfacing lengthwise so the threads run in the same direction as the fabric’s lengthwise grain. Available in white and graphite (dark grey). Choose white under light fabrics and graphite under dark fabrics so the interfacing does not show through.

How to fuse it: place the adhesive side against the wrong side of the fabric, cover with a damp pressing cloth, and press the iron down on medium heat for approx. 12 seconds per area. Lift the iron and move it instead of sliding it back and forth. Let the piece cool before continuing to sew.

The interfacing withstands washing at 40°C and dry cleaning. Avoid bleaching and tumble drying.
